Let’s chat!

Tell me all about your wonderful project and how you plan to use the images, I’ll prepare a simple scope of works and fee proposal.

The fee proposal will be separated into 3 categories:

Creative Fee  +  Usage License  +  Extras

Portfolio-4-1

Creative Fee

This per-day fee covers all aspects of production, including:

  • Pre-production, including research, and planning
  • Production on location, including:
    • Local travel and setup
    • Use of professional photography equipment
    • Minor staging and on-site coordination
  • Post-production, including:
    • File handling, storage, and delivery
    • Image blemish removal and lighting adjustments
    • Exposure merging, color correction, and perspective adjustments
    • Basic retouching and final enhancements

A typical full-day on location results in approx. 12-15 final images.

Usage License

This is a per-image fee, this fee will be based on you particular usage needs as it can significantly on each client and project.

Extras (if applicable)

Additional costs may apply for:

  • Assistants
  • Travel and accommodation
  • Specialty equipment hire (e.g., scissor lifts)
  • Any other project-specific requirements

Cost Sharing

If multiple parties are interested in using the images, cost-sharing is a great way to split expenses and maximise value.

For each additional party joining the photoshoot, a 30% fee is added to the project total. This allows all involved parties to obtain image licensing at a significantly reduced cost compared to purchasing 3rd-party rights later.

Example Cost-Sharing Breakdown:

2 Parties: $3,000 shoot cost + 30% = $3,900 total ($1,950 per party, 35% savings)

4 Parties: $3,000 shoot cost + 90% = $5,700 total ($1,425 per party, 52% savings)

Common interested parties include: Architects, interior designers, landscape designers, builders, subcontractors, material suppliers, furniture & lighting vendors, and more.

Cost-sharing must be arranged before the shoot to secure the discounted rate. If additional parties wish to license images after the shoot, they will be charged a higher rate.
